Karen Marks and her husband, James, greeted their newest addition, Gabriella, with boundless joy as she entered the world last month, completing their trio of triplets. Each of their children was thoughtfully spaced two years apart, a harmonious arrangement that we’ll delve into to understand how it came to be.

Embarking on the journey of parenthood, Karen Marks and James set sail four years ago when their first child, Cameron, was born. Isabella followed suit two years later, and the latest addition, Gabriella, made her debut just last month. Despite their chronological separation, these siblings are united as triplets, their conception synchronized through IVF on a momentous day and time, originating from a single batch of embryos.

Following the birth of Cameron on September 1, 2018, Karen and James chose to preserve their viable embryos, nurturing dreams of expanding their family down the road. These aspirations transformed into reality on September 15, 2020, with the arrival of Isabella, culminating in the birth of Gabriella on July 3, 2022. “I finally feel complete, my heart brimming with happiness,” Karen exclaimed.

Their days are now undoubtedly filled with the laughter and demands of three children under five, yet the couple feels an immense sense of fortune after surmounting the challenges on their path to parenthood. Karen and James, who exchanged vows in 2014, emerged from their struggles with Karen’s fertility issues even stronger. Overcoming initial difficulties, their steadfast dedication led them to explore IVF, ultimately resulting in their delightful trio. Karen defended their choice by asserting, “When you’ve exhausted all other avenues, then go ahead and pursue IVF. It’s a valid option, and it worked wonderfully for us.”
