In the latest episode of “The Kardashians” titled “Everything Is My Fault,” Kim Kardashian stunned viewers with a revelation about her personal preferences in the bedroom. Despite her career being kickstarted by a well-known intimate video 16 years ago, the 42-year-old reality star disclosed that she identifies as a “lights-off girl.” The revelation took place during a meal at II Fornaio, where Kim and Scott Disick engaged in a discussion about the relationship between Cher, 77, and A.E., 36, which lasted from November 2022 to May 2023.
During a casual conversation with Scott, Kim Kardashian brought up reports about Cher and A.E. allegedly making out at a party. Reflecting on her own preferences, Kim expressed that she would feel insecure engaging in such intimate moments with a new partner, indicating her inclination towards being a “lights-off girl.”
As Scott pondered the possibility that Cher’s confidence or preference for dimmed lights played a role in her romantic encounters, Kim humorously chimed in, admitting, “I pretty much have the lights off now.”
Expressing their excitement over Cher and A.E.’s relationship, Scott wholeheartedly agreed, proclaiming it to be the most incredible thing he had witnessed. Later, during a confessional interview, a producer inquired, “You’re a lights-off kind of girl. Is that true?” prompting Kim, as a mother of four, to confirm the statement while considering her own personal inclinations.
In response to the producer’s question during the confessional, Kim acknowledged, “Kind of, yeah. It’s so weird. But then I can walk out of a photoshoot with a hundred people working on set. I can walk out in like a thong, but if it’s like you’re there with me, I’m like, wait, don’t look at me! Turn the lights off!” Kim expressed the contrasting nature of her comfort levels, feeling at ease in professional settings while experiencing shyness and a preference for dimmed lights in more intimate situations.
During their dinner, Kim openly confessed that she would consider “putting a blindfold on him,” while Scott jokingly commented about A.E., stating, “I’ll tell you right now, he’s hitting that hard.” The dinner scene unfolded as Kim took a break from her role as the creative director for the Dolce & Gabbana campaign. In a confessional, Kim expressed her overwhelming busyness with the campaign, acknowledging the extensive tasks that needed completion before Milan. Despite her workload, she admitted the need for some fun and a chance to escape the confines of her house.
‘I love hanging out with Scott. We’re both single right now, so I feel like there’s a lot to talk about and a lot to navigate,’ Kim expressed in a confessional. Meanwhile, during dinner, Kim checked in with Scott, asking about his well-being and specifically about his back following his car accident.
Scott responded by saying that he hasn’t seen Kim out on any dates since her breakup with Pete Davidson. Kim chimed in, acknowledging the challenges of navigating first dates, saying, “It’s hard because what do those first dates look like?”
Scott further shared his perspective, stating that he couldn’t imagine what a first date with Kim would be like, and she agreed, mentioning the need for privacy and not being able to go out. Kim described the situation as awkward, and Scott jokingly compared it to the movie “Pretty Woman” from 1990, playfully teasing Kim by saying she must be like a “dirty little secret,” to which Kim laughed along.
The business mogul shared her perspective, explaining that if she is seen with someone new, it adds a layer of pressure. She expressed that if things don’t work out in a new relationship, there can be a sense of embarrassment that it didn’t last long, leading to a desire to try and make it work a little longer to avoid that feeling.
Scott commented that the headlines would likely read, “Kim K fails another relationship,” implying a common narrative surrounding Kim’s romantic endeavors. In a confessional, Kim reflected on her past relationships and shared that she gains valuable lessons from each one, emphasizing her growth and personal development through these experiences.
‘The one thing I learned from my last situation was the media made me feel like I was in a real serious relationship so quickly. I just want to sneak around a little bit, like there’s nothing wrong with wanting to sneak,’ Kim shared in a confessional. During dinner, she expressed to Scott that she doesn’t want to exclusively date one person, although she admits she has never done that before.
In response, Scott asked if she has ever seen “Sex and the City,” to which Kim replied, ‘I watch it every night to fall asleep.’ Scott playfully joked, referencing the characters’ escapades, saying, ‘They were in the streets. They were catching sausage all over town.’
